Sleeper class is the budget class in Indian Railways and described as 'Best value for money' class. It is not air-conditioned and locals mostly use it to commute. I spent some time photographing Sleeper Class windows and waiting areas at Ajmer Railway Station in Rajasthan India. I was touched by the expressions on traveler's faces. Some were sad to depart leaving their families behind, while others were excited to go somewhere new with hopes and promises of a better life.
